This stretch of Marina was designed by James Burton who designed much of Kew Gardens and the important Glass Palm house at Kew. James Burton was probably the most significant builder of St Leonards on Sea and Georgian London, responsible for large areas of Bloomsbury, St Johns Wood, Clapham Common and collaborated with John Nash at Regent’s Park.
