A wonderful family house on the southern edge of Bath with unrivalled views and set in the middle of a beautifully manicured ground.
Large, light rooms flow across two floors, a recent side extension creating an ability to expand further. The large drawing room has double doors spilling out onto the paved terrace leading down onto the garden and has a large open fireplace. A formal dining room opens through double doors into a garden room which has lovely views across the garden, into the distance. A family kitchen/breakfast room sits at the front of the house with a fitted aga, tiled floor and linking through to the large utility room, wine cellar, study and large guest suite.
On the first floor is the master bedroom which has an en suite bathroom and again enjoys the elevated views. There are three further bedrooms on this floor, one of which is en suite, a family bathroom and separate W/C. Planning permission is in place to create two further bedrooms and two bathrooms in the attic.
The large gardens are lovely and take full advantage of the setting with a southerly aspect with the most incredible views. Sweeping around the house are mature shrubs, a variety of trees, patio areas and space potentially for a tennis court or pool at the side of the house, or, subject to planning permission, a separate dwelling.
