Homes Making an Impression: Five Brighton & Hove Properties Outperforming on Rightmove in September 2026

11/09/2026
Which homes are attracting the most attention from buyers in Brighton right now?
In our Homes Making an Impression series, we look beyond the listing itself and examine the Rightmove data behind some of the properties we are currently marketing across Brighton & Hove.
From average property views to performance against similar homes for sale locally, the figures provide a useful indication of which listings are making buyers stop, look and explore further.
For September, five KNIGHT & KNOXLEY properties are significantly outperforming comparable listings on Rightmove, across price points ranging from £220,000 to £1.35 million.
Wakefield Road, Roundhill – £575,000
Leading this month’s selection is 22 Wakefield Road, a characterful Victorian home in Brighton’s Roundhill neighbourhood.
The property has attracted an average of 346 views, placing it an exceptional 578% ahead of similar listings on Rightmove. That equates to 295 more average views than comparable properties.
It is the strongest performer in this month’s selection and a clear example of the attention a thoughtfully presented and carefully positioned Brighton home can generate.
Vine Street, North Laine – £1,350,000
In the heart of Brighton’s North Laine, 11–12 Vine Street has also made a considerable impression.
The property has received an average of 214 views, putting it 149% ahead of similar listings—or 128 more average views than comparable properties currently on the market.
At £1.35 million, its performance demonstrates the level of interest a distinctive property can attract at the higher end of the Brighton market, particularly when its architecture, versatility and potential are presented with clarity.
Elder Place, Brighton – £220,000
At £220,000, Flat 1, 11 Elder Place represents a very different section of the market, but its performance has been no less notable.
The apartment has received an average of 122 views, outperforming similar listings by 213% and attracting 83 more average views than its Rightmove benchmark.
Its inclusion alongside homes at considerably higher price points shows that making an impression is not dependent on size or value.
Warleigh Road, Brighton – £985,000
48 Warleigh Road, marketed at £985,000, has attracted an average of 114 views.
This places the property 107% ahead of similar listings, with 59 more average views than comparable homes on the market.
The figures reflect a strong level of online attention for a substantial Brighton home within the upper section of the market.
Florence Road, Brighton – £415,000
Interest in 9 Florence Road is not only outperforming similar properties—it is continuing to build.
The property has attracted an average of 94 views, which is 109% higher than similar listings and equates to 49 additional average views.
Views have also increased by 24% compared with the previous seven days, suggesting that the property is gaining momentum as more buyers discover it on Rightmove.
What Do These Results Show?
Taken together, these properties demonstrate that there is no single formula for capturing buyers’ attention.
From a £220,000 apartment to a £1.35 million North Laine property, homes of very different styles, sizes and values are performing well against their respective markets. What they share is a clear sense of positioning and a reason for buyers to look more closely.
Online attention is only one part of a successful sale, but it is an important first step. Pricing, photography, presentation and the way a property is introduced to the market can all influence whether a buyer scrolls past or stops to explore.
At KNIGHT & KNOXLEY, every home is approached individually. We combine local knowledge with considered presentation and strategic property marketing to ensure the homes we represent have the opportunity to stand out.
Because a home should be positioned, not simply listed.
